Iranian doctors carried out surgery of kidney transplantation in Azerbaijan. The Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan told Trend that a group of Iranian doctors arrived in Baku at the invitation of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in compliance with an agreement between the Heath Ministries of the two countries and implemented two surgery for kidney transplantation.
The surgery was carried out at Baku Urological Hospital. The Iranian doctors carried out similar surgery in Azerbaijan in January and April 2005.
