The chairman of the Caucasus Clerical Board (CCB), Sheik-ul-Islam receives the US Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Reno Harnish in connection with the completion of his diplomatic tenure in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
The meeting focused on aspects pf development of the Azerbaijani-US cooperation and the situation in the Caucasus and Near East.
The diplomat appreciated the role of Pashazade in the achievement of tolerance, model inter-nation relationships in Azerbaijan. Sheik-ul-Islam voiced his hope that the United States will always support Azerbaijan in the achievement of a progress and intensifies its mediation in the resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
