The chairman of the Caucasus Muslim Board, Sheik-u-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade, has sent a congratulatory letter to the Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi in connection with his appointment to this post, the Board told Trend.
In his letter Sheik-ul-Islam stressed his strong belief that in the face of Romano Prodi Italy, one of the leading countries of Europe, gained a decisive politician able to give positive contribution in the development of international relationships, as well as peace and welfare of the nation.
Pashazade also voiced his confidence that the newly appointed Prime Minister will take every effort for the fir resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and rehabilitation of justice.
