A two week-long workshop Azerbaijani Advances in Development Communication started in Baku on 27 June, Trend reports.
Supported by the United States Agency for International Development and International Medical Corps first event is conducted by international communication experts from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health/Center for Communication Programs.
Organized by International Medical Corps and the USAID START Participant Training Program, the workshop will discuss innovative methods to develop strategic programs for health promotion. Participants will learn from the vast resources of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the worldwide experience of the Center for Communication Programs. The current workshop will open new opportunities to strengthen health care systems in Azerbaijan through effective health communication.
