Conference on media problems ends in Vienna
A two-day international conference on Freedom of Press, defense of journalists and access to information was held in Vienna with participation of delegates from many world countries, including Azerbaijan.
Trend special correspondent in Vienna reported that the Azerbaijani delegation included Vugar Aliyev, an official of the Azerbaijani Presents Apparat, Arif Aliyev, the chairman of the Yeni Nesil journalists union, heads of newspapers, non-governmental organizations, and media, as well as representatives of the Baku Office of OSCE, Ulvi Akhundov, Ingrid Angele and Elshad Farszaliyev.
Head of the OSCE commission, the Belgium Ambassador Frank Gerkens, chaired over the gatherings.
Major debates were inked with report Project on access to information by an international expert from London, David Banisar.
