Last time, the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan reviewed 9,000 municipal acts and canceled 140 of them, Trend reports quoting Mehti Salimzadeh, head of Center for Municipalities Affairs.
В"Based on the ministry proposal, lawsuits were filed for canceling some municipal acts. Protocols on bringing heads of 44 municipalities to administrative accountability were drawn and dispatched to the court. It was found out that local budgets covered up some shortages, which was reflected in relevant protocolsВ", he said.
Salimzadeh said 20 zonal workshops had been lead across the country in order to provide methodological assistance in this respect. The Center involves employees of municipalities in skill raising trainings.
