The entrants to not have gained enough points at entrance examinations for 2006/2007 academic year have submitted 5,500 applications for 2,702 vacant places in universities of Azerbaijan, trend reports with reference to the State Commission for Students Admission of Azerbaijan (SCSA).
The documents were received on August 23 through 27. Alongside State Commission was receiving documents to special middle education institutions of the country: 21,000 applications have been submitted for 7,663 scheduled places. The totals of such additional deployment of entrants in universities and scheduled places of technical schools will be published in the next issue of Entrant magazine.
