The wage raise of the workers of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan is expected to take place in October 2006, Makhmoud Karimov, President of the National Academy of Sciences told journalist today, Trend reports.
According to him, all the workers of the Academy are not satisfied with the existing salary. He is not satisfied with it either. The Academy needs financial means to renew its material and technical base, particularly to organize the work of the laboratory and the research centres. With this purpose the Academy prepares a special program and submit it to the Government of Azerbaijan
Mr. Karimov told that at least 3-5 m. AZN are needed to provide the Academy`s laboratories with up-to-date equipment partly.
