Answering the Prosecutor's questions during today`s hearing, Malik Mammadov, a member of Haji Mammadov`s gang pointed out that the expenses on the design and constructions work of the villa belonging to the Chief of the Central Criminal Investigation Department of the Interior Ministry Zakir Nasirov were paid by Haji Mammadov. The court on the criminal case of former Senior Officer of the Central Criminal Investigation Department Haji Mammadov and his gang consisting of 25 persons is chaired by Judge Ali Seyfaliyev, Trend reports.
The Prosecutors were also interested which state officials visited the Garabulag Resort Centre belonging to Haji Mammadov. Malik Mammadov stated that most of the ministers whom he saw on TV, he also met in Garabulag. But I do not recall their names. It would be better if you asked Haji about it, he told.
Malik Mammadov was engaged in the construction work in the Garabulag Resort Centre. He is accused of murdering the gang of Chechen members, as well as the residents of the Settlement of Saray Novruz Ismayilov and Mekhman Samadov. However, at the court, Malik Mammadov pointed out that he had not take part in these crimes.
The contradictions in Malik Mammadov`s testimony during the pre-trial are being investigated in the trial which continues today.
