On 27 October 2006 the United Nations office in Baku will host a Model UN Conference, teaming up with a group of graduate and postgraduate students of various departments of the Baku State University, Trend reports citing announcement of Baku Office of UN.
The event, dedicated to the commemoration of the UN Week, will be a simulation of a session of the Security Council. This model UN Security Council meeting will be focusing on the nuclear programme of Iran.
Other representatives of interested parties, such as International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), will also be in attendance.
The conference will take place on 27 October, Friday at 15:00 hours in the United Nations office in Baku.
