The prospects of the co-operation between Azerbaijan and the OSCE in applying and teaching the human rights in the education sphere were discussed on December 22 at the meeting of the Azerbaijani Education Minister, Misir Mardanov, with the Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, Christian Strohal, Trend reports with reference to Education Ministry of Azerbaijan. The sides discussed the realization of the program of the Office on tolerance and fight against discrimination, the report prepared by the Office regarding Azerbaijan, etc. Touching on the violation of the human rights in Azerbaijan as a result of then aggression by Armenia, Mardanov informed Strohal on the destroyed schools in occupied Azerbaijani lands. Strohal expressed his satisfaction with the level of the educational co-operation with Azerbaijan.
