The price of several daily newspapers published in Azerbaijan increased by AZN 0,10 to AZN 0,30 from February 1st. These newspapers include Yeni Musavat, Azadlyg, 24 Saat, Gundelik Azerbaijan, Express, Bizim Yol and Milli Yol. Several newspapers, including Echo and Zerklo had already increased in price earlier. Several daily newspapers, including 525-ci Qazet, Hafta Ichi, Uch Nokta and Sharg, still keep to the previous price (AZN 0,20).
The increase of price was necessary due to the decision of the Tariff Council of Azerbaijan on increasing prices for energy carriers and communal services.
