Georgian Pharmaceutical Company Expands Export to Azerbaijan & Uzbekistan

Georgia's pharmaceutical company PSP Group plans to boost its exports. Gocha GogiliSvili, director of the company said the PSP Group will export its medicines to Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, Trend reports. .

The PSP Group has already registered GMP's three products in Russia. At present, the registration process is underway for 25 categories of medicines in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

The PSP Group has been operating since May 3rd, 1995. In 2000 the company set up the first pharmaceutical enterprise GMP, which holds ISO-9001-2000 certificates. The company is producing up to 80 categories of medicines and planning to introduce 80 types of medicines in 2007. GogiliSvili says the sales index and network of drugstores of the company increased considerably in 2006 against 2005. The PSP Group currently owns 65 drugstores.
