Georgian and Azerbaijan Justice Ministries Signed Program on Cooperation for 2007

Giya Kaftaradze, Georgia Justice Minister and his Azerbaijan counterpart, Fikrat Mammadov, signed a program on bilateral cooperation between the two offices for 2007 in Baku today, on February 8, a source in the Press Service of the Azerbaijan Justice Ministry informed Trend. The program envisages fulfilling international obligations, teaching and training justice employees, exchanging experience in such spheres like legal expertise, penitentiary system.

The two Ministers also discussed difficulties similar to them, as well as the social situation with the two countries. The official visit of the Georgian delegation consist of Givi Makanadze, the Deputy Georgia Justice Minister, Mamuka Mameladze, the Chief of the Georgian National legal Expertise Bureau, and Teya Kimiridze, the Head of the Department for Public Relations and Press of the Georgian Justice Ministry.

The visit started with visit to the Martyrs' Alley, and completed with getting acquaintance with materials from the Heydar Aliyev Museum and The Azerbaijan Justice Ministry.
