U.S. Helps Local Community in North-East to Complete a School Project

Azerbaijan, Baku/ Trend , corr. P. Amirdjanov/ The U. S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is pleased to announce the opening ceremony of a school project implemented within USAID's Community Development Activity programme in the Zardabi Community of the Guba District of Azerbaijan. The event is expected to take place on Tuesday, 10 April at 11:00 a.m. in front of the Zardabi Community School, a press release by the U. S. Embassy to Baku today stated. All media representatives are invited to participate in the event.

This project was made possible with the generous support of the American People through the USAID's Community Development Activity Program, implemented by CHF International and UMID (CHF's local partner).

The project was identified as a priority by the Community Development Council of Zardabi Community as part of USAID's Community Development Activity. Zardabi community residents believe that implementation of the project will help raise the level of education, strengthen the school-community, school-parent relations, as well as increase the sports potential in the community.
