Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend K.Zarbaliyeva / Suleymanyan Valery Surenovich, an Armenian by origin who resides in Azerbaijan's territory of Nagorno-Karabakh occupied by the Armed Forces of Armenia, was taken prisoner on the frontline. The Head of the Public Relations Department of Azerbaijan's Ministry of National Security, Arif Babayev, said on 11 June that Suleymanyan does not wish to go back.
He asked the Azerbaijani side to take him to a third country. Presently investigations are being held regarding the fact.
