Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Ilhamgizi / Zurab Melikishvili, the Governor of the Georgian of Kvemo-Kartli, paying an official visit to Baku, stated on 21 June that Azerbaijanis residing in Georgia, should learn the Georgian State language in order to get jobs.
Melikishvili noted that Kvemo-Kartli is thickly populated with Azerbaijanis.
The Governor informed that teaching in Azerbaijani schools in Georgia is held in the Azerbaijani language. Besides they should also learn the Georgian Language too.
"Azerbaijanis should integrate into Georgian society. The graduators should know the Georgian language to get state work. We are ready to render assistance to Azerbaijanis to develop their own language and culture," Governor added.
