E.Javadova / The criminal trial involving Azerbaijan's former Economic Development Minister, Farhad Aliyev, his brother Rafik Aliyev, former President of the Azpetrol group of companies, and seventeen other people, has been continued at the Court on Serious Crimes presided by Judge Tofik Pashayev
Vali Afandiyev, the employee of technical service of Azpetrol, was questioned during the hearing. Afandiyev stated that several filling stations of Azpetrol had functioned without licenses.
Gabil Mammadov, the director of the service, questioned at the hearing, noted that 7 out of 62 filling stations had no licenses. R.Aliyev explained the situation as the company appealed to the Azerbaijani Industry and Energy Ministry regarding the license, but the Ministry was then re-established and the company could not receive registration.
Natik Karimov, the former accountant of Azpetrol, has noted that filling stations without licenses functioned in Masalli and Ganja.
