Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. I.Alizadeh / The legal process on lawsuit of former Azerbaijani Health Minister, Ali Insanov, against the Justice Minister, Fikrat Mammadov, and the leadership of the investigation cell 1 was postponed for 28 August. Earlier the proces wasw scheduled fro 24 August.
The decision was adopted during the process in Nasimi District Court under the chairmanship of Mammad Mmmadov, the judge, on 24 August.
The former minister appealed to Nasimi District Court with a lawsuit to recognize illegal inactivity of the Justice Minister and the leadership of the Penal Service.
The judge said that the process was postponed due to absence of document permitting presence of defenders in the Court on the lawsuit of A.Insanov.
Ali Insanov did not attend in the court. The lawyer of A.Insanov, Agaveys Shahverdi, said that Insanov hoped to attend at the process.
Former minister was arrested in October 2005 for attempting to perform coup d'etat, appropriation and embezzlement of the state property, exceeding his commissions and responsibilities, and other serious crimes and was sentenced to 11 years of imprisonments and confiscation of his property. Presently, Ali Insanov is kept in the Penal Service of the Bail Investigation cell. Minister demands his transferring to medical institution of the Penal Service due to hernia in his spine.
