New railway station to appear soon in Uzbekistan’s Namangan

The commissioning of a new railway station in Uzbekistan’s Namangan, which will be able to serve more than 500 passengers a day, is planned for the near future, Trend reports with reference to the Uzbekistan Railways.

The new station will be a three-story building. It will include a VIP-zone, a waiting room, a storage room, catering facilities, retail outlets, a mother-and-child room, a medical center.

Construction of the new station is carried out at an intensive pace, using modern architectural solutions. Finishing work has already begun.

The Lokomotiv Hotel, located in the station’s territory, will acquire a new look as well.
