Uzbekistan plans to commission 14 metro stations in 2019

Uzbekistan plans to commission about 12 aboveground metro stations in the Yashnabad district and 2 underground metro stations in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent in 2019, Trend reports via the Uzbek media.

The first deputy mayor of the capital for architecture, construction and development of communications, Davron Khidoyatov announced this at a meeting with journalists.

The aboveground metro line will have a length of 52.1 km. The line will run from the metro station Dustlik to the Kuylyuk Market and further connect the metro stations Olmazor, Beruni and Bodomzor.

Currently, construction and installation work is underway at the new Yangi Yunusobod and Turkiston metro stations.
