BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 27

By Sadraddin Aghjayev - Trend:

In most countries, big IT companies specializing in software development and hardware solutions are planning to invest in artificial intelligence startups, Director at the Korea Startup Forum, Josh Choi said.

Choi made the remark during the Artificial Intelligence for Digital Governance Conference & Data Competition Confirmation online event organized by the Azerbaijan E-Gov Development Center, Trend reports.

“To introduce artificial intelligence in all spheres of activity, the world’s big companies expect the developers of start-up projects to give such solutions, and they, in turn, will invest or buy them out altogether,” the director said.

"Big IT companies do not plan to develop artificial intelligence projects, entrepreneurs will do it," Choi said. “The artificial intelligence-based start-up projects can be applied in various sectors of activity.”

"Artificial intelligence today is practiced in the world in the education sector, governments, and state agencies of some countries when rendering the services in the G2C (government-citizen) format,” the director said. “The basis of the artificial intelligence concept is the process of simplifying and automating the activity and services."
