Azerbaijan’s non-oil exports in 11M2021 increased by 44 percent and amounted to $2.4 billion, Trend reports citing the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications.
According to the December issue of the Export Report, Azerbaijan's exports in 11M2021 amounted to $19.8 billion, and in the non-oil sector - $2.4 billion.
It is reported that exports in the non-oil sector increased by 44 percent and amounted to $720.8 million compared to the same period in 2020.
Also, the production of fruits and vegetables during the reporting period increased by $258,800 compared to the same period last year and amounted to $549.8 million.
In addition, non-oil exports of cotton yarn increased 3.4 times, ferrous metals and products made from them - 2.3 times, chemical products - 2.7 times, exports of cotton fiber increased by 70.2 percent, sugar - by 29.8 percent, and exports of aluminum and aluminum products increased by 69.3 percent.
It is noted that Azerbaijan’s exports in November amounted to $2.95 billion. Exports in the non-oil sector increased by 58.7 percent, or $307.2 million.
Also, food exports in November increased by 1.6 percent compared to the same period last year and amounted to $98.9 million, while the export of non-food products increased 2.2 times and amounted to $208.3 million.
