Belarus exported 1,570 tons of butter to Azerbaijan from January through November 2021, Trend reports with reference to the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
In general, about 6,300 tons of butter of Belarus were exported in November 2021. The export volume increased by 12.9 percent to 71,460 tons from January through November 2021. In value terms, the export volume increased by 22.7 percent to $362.9 million.
Some 89.7 percent of export of butter accounted for Russia. The supplies to Russia increased by 9.3 percent to 64,100 tons while in value terms - by 19 percent to $326.9 million. Moreover, 3,780 tons of butter were exported to Ukraine while 240 tons to Mongolia.
According to the National Statistical Committee, the export of dry dairy products by Belarus decreased from January through November 2021.
The supplies reached $1.5 billion from January through November 2021.
Despite the decline in physical volumes, export earnings increased in almost all positions due to rising prices.
