The fees of the Azerbaijani Xalq Sigorta insurance company increased by 13.8 percent or 4.3 million manat ($2.5 million) in 2021 compared to 2020 up to 6.2 million manat ($3.6 million), the Azerbaijan Insurers Association told Trend .
The insurance payments of Xalq Sigorta company increased by 21.6 percent or 3.9 million manat ($2.3 million) in 2021 compared to 2020 up to 21.7 million manat ($12.8 million).
The share of Xalq Sigorta company in insurance fees in the Azerbaijani market in 2021 amounted to 3.69 percent while the share of payments - 4.73 percent.
The total fees of the Azerbaijani insurance companies amounted to 843.9 million manat $496.4 million (an increase of 15.8 percent for the year) while total payments - 458.7 million manat $269.8 million (a decrease of 1.4 percent) in 2021.
