The GDP of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) increased by 1.1 percent in January 2022 compared to the same period in 2021, exceeding 180.315 million manat ($106.1 million), Trend reports referring to the State Statistics Committee of NAR.
According to the agency, industrial output in NAR rose above 97.916 million manat ($57.6 million) in January 2022, an increase of 1.3 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
GDP per capita in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic reached 389.4 manat ($229.1), up by 2.2 percent compared to January 2021.
Following the results of 2021, the GDP of the NAR exceeded 3.016 billion manat ($1.77 billion), thus having grown by 2.4 percent compared to 2020.
