BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 7. The Asian Development Bank (ADB) predicts the growth of Azerbaijan's foreign exchange reserves in 2023, Trend reports with reference to ADB Asian Development Outlook 2022.
According to the ADB, Azerbaijan's foreign exchange reserves could reach $54.3 billion in 2023.
The foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan amounted to $53.4 billion as of April 1, 2022.
ADB predicts that Azerbaijan's balance of payments (BOP) surplus will be 20.2 percent of GDP in 2022 and will decrease to 16.9 percent of GDP in 2023.
"It is predicted that Azerbaijan's trade surplus will increase by 48.5 percent in 2022 and will decrease by 10.1 percent in 2023," ADB said.
