BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 13. The state budget surplus of Azerbaijan reached 1.38 billion manat ($812.2 million) in the first quarter of 2022, the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan told Trend.
The government revenues amounted to over 7.009 billion manat ($4.1 billion), while expenditures totaled 5.629 billion manat ($3.3 billion).
According to the ministry, state budget revenues exceeded the forecast by 417.7 million manat ($245.8 million), or 6.3 percent.
Moreover, this figure increased by 1.273 billion manat ($749.27 million), or 22.2 percent compared to the same period in 2021.
