BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 16. The food product and agricultural commodity turnover between Azerbaijan and Belarus reached $41.6 million in 2021, up by 19.1 compared to 2020, Trend reports citing the Belarusian Ministry of Agriculture.
Meanwhile, imports of goods were estimated at $34.6 million.
This became known during a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Belarus Ulvi Bakhshaliyev and Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus Igor Brylo.
The sides discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation between the two countries in agriculture, mutual food supplies, as well as reviewed interaction in agricultural education, veterinary medicine, mutual participation in exhibitions and fairs.
The food product and agricultural commodity turnover between Azerbaijan and Belarus totaled $5.7 million in the first two months of 2022, while imports of goods amounted to $4.6 million.
