BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 21. Banks and credit organizations of Nakhchivan issued loans to legal entities and individuals in the amount of over 69.9 million manat ($41.1 million) in 1Q2022, Trend reports with reference to Nakhchivan’s State Statistical Committee.
According to the report of Nakhchivan’s State Statistical Committee, loans issued in 1Q2022 are 44.6 percent more than in 1Q2021.
About 5.7 million manat ($3.3 million) or 8.2 percent of total volume issued, fell on short-term loans in the specified period, more than 64.2 million manat ($37.7 million), or 91.8 percent of the total volume of loans issued, on long-term loans.
The GDP of Nakhchivan increased by 1.5 percent in 1Q2022 compared to the same period in 2021.
GDP per capita in Nakhchivan amounted to 1,231 manat ($724) in the reporting period, which is two percent more than in 1Q2021.
