BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 22. The manufacturing value of metallurgical products in Azerbaijan notably increased from January through March 2022, Trend reports citing the State Statistics Committee.
According to the committee, this figure amounted to 412 million manat ($242.3 million), up by 216.5 million manat ($127.3 million), or 2.1 times, on annual basis.
The volumes of metallurgical products manufactured in Azerbaijan in the first quarter of 2022 are shown in the below table:

Besides, according to the committee, the production of other structures from ferrous metals exceeded 5.2 million manat or $3 million (a decrease of 4.3 percent over the year).
In 2021, the manufacturing value of metallurgical products in Azerbaijan grew by 442 million manat ($260.1 million), or 38.5 percent, compared to 2020, to over 1.14 billion manat ($670 million).
