BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 27. Azerbaijan's businessmen have been provided with preferential loans worth 13.3 million manat ($7.8 million) since the beginning of 2022, Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov tweeted, Trend reports.
Since the beginning of this year, within the framework of state support, 13.3 million manat ($7.8 million) in soft loans have been issued to entrepreneurs to finance 368 projects, which allowed to create of 344 new jobs.
"Some 99.7 percent of the projects fall on Azerbaijan's regions, while 0.3 percent - on Baku. In addition, 99.8 percent of the loans accounted for entrepreneurs from the regions of the country, whereas 0.2 percent - for businessmen from the capital," Jabbarov wrote.
