BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 18. The EU companies that participated in the EU Business Climate Survey are interested in projects’ development in the territories liberated [from Armenian occupation in 2020], Zibar Huseynova, Managing Director of Azerbaijan France Chamber of Commerce, told Trend at the EU-Azerbaijan Business Forum in Baku.
According to Huseynova, today the companies are waiting for the announcement of tenders for participation in projects in the liberated territories.
She added that French companies are more interested in improving the business sector of Azerbaijan.
“Of all the EU companies that took part in the survey on the business climate of Azerbaijan for 2021, France represented the most [16 percent of respondents],” Huseynova said.
Meanwhile, the EU has presented the sixth edition of the EU Business Climate Survey 2021, prepared on the basis of a survey of European companies already operating in the country or wishing to expand their business.
Representatives of the Italian business sector are in second place among the surveyed companies (14 percent), followed by Germany (13 percent).
