BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 13. The turnover in mutual tourism services of Azerbaijan reached $318 million in the first quarter of 2022, up by 2.9 times compared to the same period of 2021, Trend reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the CBA, tourism imports ($196.8 million) in the reporting period exceeded exports ($121.3 million), resulting in a deficit of $75.5 million.
During this period, tourism services provided to Azerbaijani citizens abroad amounted to $196.8 million in value terms.
