BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 25. The export of clothes from Türkiye to Israel increased by 20 percent from January through May 2022, compared to the same period last year and amounted to $242.6 million, Trade Ministry of Türkiye told TurkicWorld, Trend reports.
According to ministry, Türkiye reduced its exports of clothes to Israel by 38.7 percent (to $33.9 million) in May 2022 compared to the same month in 2021.
Turkish exports of clothes totally increased by 15.8 percent from January through May 2022 compared to the same period last year and amounted to $8.8 billion.
Türkiye exported $1.3 billion worth of clothes in May 2022, up three percent from the same month last year.
Türkiye has exported clothes worth $21.4 billion in the past 12 months (from May 2021 through May 2022).
