BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 16. Revenues to the state budget of Azerbaijan through the State Customs Committee increased from January through July 2022, Trend reports via the committee.

According to the committee, this figure amounted to 3.02 billion manat ($1.78 billion), up by 24.6 percent on annual basis.

Revenues from customs duties to the state budget increased by 91.4 million manat ($53.7 million), or 13.92 percent, in the first seven months of 2022 – up to 748.4 million manat ($440.2 million) compared to the same period last year.

Besides, according to the committee, revenues from VAT equaled 2.15 billion manat or $1.26 billion (30.42 percent more than from January through June 2021), from excises – 85.3 million manat or $50.18 million (a decrease over the year by 7.95 percent), from road tax – 34.8 million manat or $20.4 million (an increase of 42.28 percent over the year).

The State Customs Committee fulfilled the forecast for state budget revenues by 111.29 percent in 2021.

Amount transferred to the state budget in excess of the forecast made up 440.3 million manat ($259 million).
