BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 14. Azerbaijan increased the manufacturing volume of paint and varnish products from January through August 2022, compared to the same period of last year, Trend reports referring to the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
According to the committee, this figure amounted to 20,190 tons, up by 11 percent on annual basis.
The committee also said that from January through August 2022, propylene production in Azerbaijan equaled 80,700 tons (with 77,500 tons accounting for the production of commercial propylene).
Meanwhile, 357,500 tons of methanol were produced in the country (growth of 181.3 times in a year).
At the same time, 84,500 tons of polyethylene were produced in Azerbaijan.
