BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 3. The Sangachal terminal exported around 67 million standard cubic meters (about 2,362 million standard cubic feet) of Shah Deniz gas daily over the three quarters of 2022, Trend reports with reference to bp.

This figure is up by 15.5 percent, compared to 58 million standard cubic metres (about 2,063 million standard cubic feet) of Shah Deniz gas exported from the Sangachal terminal over the reporting period of 2021.

As bp noted, gas from the Sangachal terminal is exported through the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP), the SCP expansion system and via Azerbaijan’s pipelines connecting the terminal’s gas processing facilities with Azerigas’s national grid system.

As bp noted, in the third quarter of 2022, oil and gas from ACG and Shah Deniz continued to flow via subsea pipelines to the Sangachal terminal.

"The daily capacity of the terminal’s processing systems is currently 1.2 million barrels of crude oil and condensate, and about 81 million standard cubic meters of Shah Deniz gas, while overall processing and export capacity for gas, including ACG associated gas is around 100 million standard cubic meters per day," the report added.
