BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 15. A delegation from Russian Novgorod region plans to visit Azerbaijan on a business mission From November 28 through November 30, Deputy Director of the Novgorod Export Support Center Daria Yanveldt told reporters, Trend reports on November 15 via Russian media outlets.
"We are organizing a business mission to Azerbaijan for the first time. A lot of work precedes the trip. So, the specialists of our center were informed about Novgorod goods which may be of interest to the Azerbaijani side,” Yanveldt stressed. “Besides, we select potential partners for our entrepreneurs in advance. We hope that the visit will be productive.”
According to the Minister of Investment Policy of the Novgorod Region, Denis Nosachev, in 2021, the Novgorod Region exported products to Azerbaijan in the amount of $4.9 million, which is 11 percent more than in 2020.
"In the first nine months of this year, the value of exports of Novgorod products to Azerbaijan amounted to $10.5 million. This is due to the resumption of fertilizer supplies, as well as a noticeable increase in the value of exports of wood and wooden products," Nosachev said.
