BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 1. A total of 61 companies with French capital were registered in Turkiye from January through October 2022, which is 3 companies less than in the same period of the previous year, Trend reports via TurkicWorld.
During the accounting period, along with the number of registered French companies, their aggregate capital also decreased.
"In the reporting period, the aggregate capital of French companies, registered in Turkiye totaled 14.3 million Turkish liras ($770,000), while in the same period of 2021, this rate was 65.99 million Turkish liras ($3.5 million)," said in the statement.
The majority of the French companies (48) were registered in Istanbul from January through October 2022.
"The aggregate capital of the French companies, registered in Istanbul, is 10.1 million Turkish liras ($542,000)," said in the statement.
From the total number of companies with French capital registered in Turkiye from January through October 2022, 31 companies operate in the field of wholesale and retail trade. The remaining companies operate in other sectors of the economy.
