BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 8. The total value of Azerbaijan’s exports in general compiled at $1.9 billion in January 2023, of which $284.5 million accounted for the share of non-oil exports, which is 22.6 percent more compared to the same period in January of 2022, Trend reports via the ‘Export review’ of the Azerbaijani Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.
The statistical value of the combined export of agricultural and agro-industrial goods during the reporting period was $67.1 million.
The export value of food products totaled $64.3 million in January 2023, while that of non-food products - $220.2 million.
The country's exports of chemical products increased by 11.3 percent in January 2023 compared to the same month in 2022, while those of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages - 11.1 times, sugar - 2.5 times, and tea - 2.3 times.
During the reporting period, the export of fruit and vegetable products amounted to 94 percent of agricultural products.
In 2022, Azerbaijan's export value totaled $38.1 billion, of which $3 billion accounted for non-oil exports, which is 10.3 percent higher than in the same period in 2021.
