BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 20. Azerbaijan’s propylene output stood at 14,400 tons in January 2023, Trend reports citing the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
In the reporting period, 15,200 tons of polyethylene were manufactured in Azerbaijan, dropping by five percent compared to January 2022.

In 2022, Azerbaijan produced 134,700 tons of propylene, 134,700 tons of polyethylene, 139,800 tons of ethylene, 194.7 tons of iodine, 5.488 million cubic meters of oxygen, 534,500 tons of methanol, and 23.406 million cubic meters of nitrogen.
A year earlier, in 2021, the country manufactured 146,400 tons of propylene, 164,700 tons of polyethylene, 168,400 tons of ethylene, 167.5 tons of iodine, 378,200 tons of methanol, and 22.481 million cubic meters of nitrogen.
