BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 21. The cost of paid services provided to Azerbaijan's population totaled 1.7 billion manat ($1 billion) from January through February 2023, increasing by 11.1 percent against the same period in 2022, Trend reports via the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
During this period, legal entities provided the country’s population with 1.3 billion manat ($764.7 million) of services, accounting for 76 percent of the overall service value.
Paid services per capita averaged 170.3 manat ($100.1) from January through February 2023, which was 30.5 manat ($17.8) more than 2022’s indicator.

The cost of paid services rendered to Azerbaijani citizens made up 9.25 billion manat ($5.4 billion) in 2022, growing by eight percent compared to 2021.
In the reporting period, legal entities provided the country's population with 7.019 billion manat ($4.1 billion) of services, accounting for 75.9 percent of the overall service value.
In 2021, the cost of paid services provided to the population in Azerbaijan increased by 4.8 percent compared to 2020 and amounted to 7.7 billion manat ($4.5 billion).
