BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 27. The total insurance premiums of 10 Azerbaijani leading insurance companies amounted to 205.8 million manat ($121.06 million) or 92.76 percent of total insurance premiums from January through February 2023, Trend reports via the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to CBA, the list of top 10 companies in terms of premiums was led by PASHA Insurance, which accounted for 36.69 percent of premiums for the reporting period. The company's premiums amounted to 81.1 million manat ($47.7 million) from January through February 2023.
PASHA Life, with total insurance premiums of 67.5 million manat or $39.7 million (30.57 percent of all premiums), ranked second, and Qala Insurance, with insurance premiums of 13.3 million manat or $7.8 million (6.06 percent) - third.
Total premiums of all insurance companies in Azerbaijan amounted to 221.06 million manat ($130.04 million) from January through February 2023.
