BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 13. About 37 tons of cabbage, as well as cauliflower and broccoli have been exported since the beginning of 2023, from Azerbaijan to Russia's Stavropol Krai (Stavropol Territory), Trend reports via the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor).

According to Rosselkhonnadzor, Azerbaijan is the main supplier of cabbage of different varieties to Stavropol.

Moreover, since 2023, Stavropol has imported over 70 tons of cabbage, as well as cauliflower and broccoli. Azerbaijan accounts for 52.8 percent of those imports.

Volume of agricultural production from January through February 2023 in Azerbaijan in actual prices amounted to 895.6 million manat ($526.8 million), which is 3.3 percent higher than in the preceding year.

Meanwhile, the volume of agricultural production last year in Azerbaijan in actual prices reached 10.9 billion manat ($6.4 billion), which is 3.4 percent higher than in 2021. At the same time, the production of livestock products in value terms increased by 3.4 percent to 5.4 billion manat ($3.1 billlion), while in the field of crop production grew by 3.3 percent to 5.5 billion manat ($3.2 billion).
