BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 19. The Azerbaijani company plans to use agricultural drones to spray phosphorus fertilizers, a representative of the Azersun company Ramazan Isik told Trend.

"We have already been using the DJI Agras T30 drone in Azerbaijan for about 3 years. We usually use it in fields where wheat, barley, corn, and tomatoes are grown. We spray various fertilizers, foliar fertilizing with this drone,” he said.

“The drone has a tank of 30 liters. With this volume, it is possible to spray fertilizers on an area of 2 hectares. The drone can stay in the air for about 15 minutes. It has 4 backup batteries, can reach a speed of up to 35 kilometers per hour, and spray from a height of 3 meters," he added.

The representative of the company noted that farmers see the significant advantages of using agricultural drones.

"At certain stages of work with agricultural crops, entering the field with units for manual processing can cause serious damage to the crop, so the presence of a drone becomes indispensable. Thanks to drones, farmers can minimize such losses," he said.
