Nominal income of Azerbaijani population increases

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 15. The nominal income of the Azerbaijani population increased by 14.82 percent, or 5.8 billion manat ($3.4 billion) and reached 44.6 billion manat ($26.2 billion) from January through July 2023 compared to the same period in 2022, Trend reports.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, per capita income increased by 14.13 percent, or 544.1 manat ($320.1), during the specified period.

In addition, the indicator of income growth of the population after payment of all mandatory and voluntary contributions amounted to 14.75 percent, or 5.1 billion manat ($3 billion) compared to the same period in 2022. Moreover, per capita income increased by 14.06 percent, or 477.8 manat ($281.1).

The nominal income of the Azerbaijani population in 2022 increased by 20.5 percent, or 11.7 billion manat ($6.9 billion) compared to 2021, and reached 68.9 billion manat ($40.5 billion). During this period, per capita incomes in Azerbaijan increased by 19.9 percent, or 1 134.4 manat ($667.2).
