Azerbaijan names top ten local insurance companies by payments for 7M2023

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 24. The total payments of the 10 leading insurance companies in Azerbaijan amounted to 268.3 million manat ($157.8 million), or 94.8 percent of the total insurance payments from January through July 2023, Trend reports.

According to CBA, the list of the top 10 companies in terms of payments was topped by PASHA Life Insurance, which accounted for 53.33 percent of the total insurance payments of all companies. The company's payments amounted to 150.9 million manat ($88.8 million) in the reporting period of 2023.

PASHA Insurance, with total insurance payments of 45.1 million manat ($26.5 million), or 15.93 percent of all payments, ranked second, followed by Xalg Insurance, with payments of 15.1 million manat ($8.9 million), or 5.35 percent.

Total payments of all insurance companies in Azerbaijan in the reporting period amounted to 282.9 million manat ($166.4 million).
