Export of chemical products from Türkiye to China increases

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 20. The export of Turkish chemical products to China amounted to $241.5 million from January through July 2023, which is 12.1 percent less than in the same period last year, the Turkish Ministry of Trade said, Trend reports.

The export of Turkish chemicals to China amounted to $14.7 million in July, which is 72 percent less than in the same month of 2022.

In addition, Turkish exports of chemical products decreased by 15.3 percent and amounted to $16.7 billion from January through July 2023 year-on-year.

China imported from Türkiye $2 billion worth of chemical products in July this year, which is 25.7 percent less than in July last year.

In general, Türkiye exported chemical products worth $30.5 billion over the past 12 months (from July 2022 through July 2023).
