Azerbaijan sees growth in export revenues from alcoholic beverages, vinegar

BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 26. Azerbaijan exported alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, as well as vinegar worth $51.3 million from January through October 2023, 2.9 times more from the same period in 2022, Trend reports via the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan.

The value of imports of drinks and vinegar from Azerbaijan in the reporting period amounted to $78.5 million, up by 12.3 percent year-on-year.

Meanwhile, exports of alcoholic beverages and vinegar amounted to 0.2 percent of Azerbaijan's total exports, and imports - 0.55 percent of total imports.

Overall, from January through October 2023, Azerbaijan's state budget revenues exceeded 26.4 billion manat ($15.5 billion), which is 2.3 percent less than the same period last year.

Additionally, revenues to the state budget of Azerbaijan through the State Customs Committee increased by 12.68 percent in the mentioned period year-on-year (up to 5.2 billion manat or $3.06 billion).
